What We Do
Who We Are
TR4IM is a seamless network of collaborative partners committed to impacting the effects of childhood trauma and community violence 8 blocks at a time.
TR4IM is a program of I AM ABLE Center for Family Development, Inc.
The focus of TR4IM is to deal with trauma and violence in its broadest context from finance to romance by connecting community residents impacted by trauma and violence with resources and services that transport them to their wellness destination.
The ticket to board is a completed TR4IM Screening Tool (click here). It informs TR4IM Partner Agencies of the services needed or desired by passengers. Once on board the TR4IM train, the impacted (community resident) can receive services that enable them to safely reach their wellness destination.
Through our collaborative network of Partner Agencies, TR4IM’s goals are achieved by the provision of high quality, coordinated services that are affordable, accessible, and holistic.
TR4IM stands for the TRAUMA RESPONSE, RECOVERY, REDUCTION & REMOVAL INTERVENTION MOVEMENT. We are striving to impact the various sectors of our community, 8 blocks at a time, until we have reached everyone!
The TR4IM wellness train has left the station! You are welcome to join our working meetings held on the third Tuesday of each month at Sinai Community Institute, 2653 W. Ogden Ave., Chicago, IL 60608 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch is provided by our partners!
